Located just off Interstate 55, the Super 8 by Wyndham McLean/Bloomington SW sits less than 18 miles from Bloomington’s downtown and Illinois State University. Good spot, clean rooms, tidy hallways and lobby, truck and trailer parking, right next to McDonald’s, and a place to walk the dog. The bathroom felt like a tiny closet, hard to get in and shut the door, the entrance doors at the ends didn’t lock, the back parking area was a bit messy, and there was a random half‑finished garden with garbage and stuff around, but that didn’t affect the room.

For the price of the room, the free breakfast was very disappointing—just cereal and coffee.

I liked the location; it was a nice area.

The location was fine. The management was rude, the room wasn’t clean, it wasn’t advertised correctly, the managers were never at the desk when needed, the air conditioner didn’t work and nobody fixed it.
