“Un agriturismo autentico con proprietari molto cordiali e attenti”
We liked almost everything about this small agriturismo, especially its authenticity. The atmosphere is relaxed and the surrounding countryside is quiet, making the nights very peaceful. The host is truly competent, knows the area well, and helps you experience the best of the Maremma. Her little restaurant is a treasure of genuine flavors, truly “from the field to the table” with organic vegetables and fruit prepared simply yet masterfully, all delicious and you can trace the source of everything you eat. We tried various local dishes such as acquacotta, pici, crostini with liver, and Manciano ciaffagnoni. Elena and Fabio are great at sharing stories about their dishes, daily discoveries with unexpected herbs, the agriturismo itself, and their lovely companion animals. Elena’s personal attention extends to the apartments, which is not common, and everything is free; for example, we found a basket with snacks, fruit juices, milk, jams, other sweets, coffee for the moka, bottled water in the fridge, dish soap, and various cleaning sponges. The proximity to the sea and the city makes this agriturismo not only hospitable but also convenient. They have several agreements with beach clubs that also accept animals. We had a great time and plan to return soon.
