The buildings have a striking architecture right beside a quiet river, the staff are super friendly, the kitchen is good, and the Ayurveda massages are excellent. The doors stick and are hard to open because of the high humidity, but a little force gets them open.

The staff were lovely and friendly, yet the breakfast was only warm and not hot, which made me worried about getting sick, so I left the warm items. The fruit was lovely and the ambience was nice.

The hotel is a lovely small place with an intimate setting, about a 15‑minute walk to the beach. Our room, with a balcony overlooking the canal, was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is large with a great shower. Breakfast was amazing, featuring a wide variety of local food every day, and there was plenty of it! The massage was the most amazing, which I would highly recommend. The staff were the main highlight, being very friendly and attentive to all our needs. Nothing else. They offer bicycles that can be borrowed, but it would help to clarify that there is a small fee to pay at the start.
