Everything was super. The owners did everything to make our short stay as pleasant as possible and met all our special requests. After booking I was called right away so I could clarify a few points. The suite I booked was perfect for my (somewhat disabled) friend and me; we had plenty of space in the rooms and bathroom and felt very comfortable. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was very good – I rarely get such care at breakfast. Coffee, tea and scrambled eggs were freshly made, brought to the table and refilled if needed. The buffet was also good and plentiful. Used plates were promptly removed. The only downside was that the address given to me was wrong (I’ve had that happen before), so we really struggled to find the hotel. I pointed it out to the owner, who promised to fix it.

Breakfast and the evening meals were good, but the location was terrible—a “hotel” without a front desk, basically just a guesthouse set in the middle of a campsite, making it noisy and echoey at night despite the quiet hours. Our room was on the first floor under the roof, got very hot and only had two roof windows to open. It’s supposed to be a 4‑star campsite, yet everything around—railings, entrance, etc.—looks pretty dated.
