Huthaus zum Molchner Stollen

The accommodations were stylish in a former mine administration building, and as an extra, you can visit the local mine. The beautiful Schwarzwassertal valley is nearby. The attic room was quite warm, but the smaller windows didn’t provide enough ventilation. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t open until the last evening of my stay, yet the food was excellent. There’s plenty of parking space at the property.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Huthaus. The house itself is extraordinary—a real treasure for those seeking an authentic and genuine accommodation in the Ore Mountains, with an atmosphere truly rooted in the place. It would have been worth exploring the area more, but we’ll return. The restaurant was lovely, the kitchen tasty, and the service genuinely friendly! … And the quiet! So, we’ll gladly come back. Everything was excellent—there’s nothing to complain about, the hosts did everything right!

“Moderner Stil in erzgebirgischem Ambiente.”

The location in a historic ensemble was wonderful, with plenty of free parking, a very friendly reception, an open table in the restaurant, a lovingly furnished room under the roof, a large bathroom with a bathtub, and a modern charm within a traditional Ore Mountain atmosphere.

The room was beautifully furnished, the hosts were very nice, and the food in the guesthouse was superb—we’ll definitely come back.
