The hotel was under renovation when we arrived, they gave us a room we hadn’t booked, no balcony, and a sofa instead of a split bed. They offered a 20 % refund for the inconvenience and I’m still waiting. DISAPPOINTING.

Clean, great facilities, especially for the breakfast and the spaces. The room had very few support floors, there were works on the floor below but we weren’t told. Also, not understanding how room cleaning worked, I couldn’t use the towel change even though I’d requested it through the AI assistant on Booking. Finally, check‑in was scheduled for 15:00, and after a half‑day with heavy backpacks I showed up to find the room would only be ready 45 minutes later – not ideal. The ground‑floor bar said I could drink water there, but why not provide plastic bottles so I could take them to the room? I find it a bit limiting to offer a service that I can only use halfway.

The balcony was about the only thing that made it bearable. There was full‑on construction in the whole building, noisy work started in the morning. Narrow hallways, bare.

The spot was perfect for getting around – several tram stops close by made it easy to reach every place we wanted, and the staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming. On our last day, after a late‑night flight, we could leave our luggage there and spend the day exploring, then return for a coffee before heading to the airport, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was simply wonderful and absolutely delicious, and the bed in our room was comfortable enough to sleep well. What we liked less was the room itself: we booked a room with two separate beds, but the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Storage was very limited – no proper wardrobes or cabinets, just a small rack that we mainly used to dry towels. We appreciated the coffee machine and a good‑quality fridge in the room, but a larger wardrobe and a foldable drying rack would make the stay a bit more comfortable. Overall, these are just small improvements; we still had a very pleasant experience and definitely recommend the accommodation.
