Knowing it was a shared bathroom, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and by the new “feeling room”; a few of my group of over 40 stayed the night, and we caught up over coffee in the shared kitchen/lounge upstairs, which was convenient.

The manager was incredibly helpful, arranging a room swap that better suited me for several reasons; the bed was comfortable and the location was convenient for the event I was attending, and I enjoyed the meals in the dining room. The doors were very heavy—manageable for me, but my mum would have struggled with the outside door.
