The place was centrally located and clean, and breakfast was nice. The toilet was broken, and instead of a standard room we were given a premium one that cost over 7000 tenge more. Two single beds were joined to make one, and there seemed to be a channel in the middle that we fell into, keeping us from sleeping until morning. Power cuts were frequent; when the electricity went out, there was no hot water or even normal water, and the toilet couldn’t be used.
