We used the property as a base for the Parenzana bike trail and it was fantastic. The setting is quiet and pleasant with a garden to relax in, the room is large and the shared bathroom is spotless. Host Stefano is wonderful and helpful (we were able to leave our bikes parked after checkout time) and can give all the useful information for the stay. Highly recommended.

The room was huge, with a small living area that had a sofa, a toilet, and a spacious shower; it was far bigger than I expected.

A truly peaceful spot suitable for families. It’s only 5 km from Trieste, but the elevation change means bike riders need a good leg; otherwise the tram stops right in front of the house, which is super convenient. Opicina is really nice. The comfort and quiet are the only drawbacks.
