“Une adresse que je recommande volontiers”

J’ai passé un excellent séjour et je me suis vraiment sentie très bien dans cet établissement. La situation géographique est parfaite, avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité, ce qui est très pratique. J’ai également beaucoup apprécié la qualité de la communication : les explications étaient très claires et tout était parfaitement organisé. L’accueil sur place était chaleureux, et la dame qui m’a accueillie a pris le temps de m’expliquer plusieurs choses. La propreté était exceptionnelle. J’ai aussi particulièrement apprécié le chauffage : après une journée entière sous la pluie, quel plaisir de rentrer dans une chambre bien chaude ! Le café et le thé mis à disposition sont également une petite attention très agréable. Je me suis sentie en sécurité et très à l’aise pendant tout mon séjour. Un tout petit point d’amélioration : comme la salle de bain est commune, ce serait pratique d’y prévoir une ou deux petites serviettes pour les mains. On oublie parfois la petite serviette lorsqu’on quitte la chambre . À part ce petit détail, tout était vraiment très bien organisé. Une excellente expérience et une adresse que je recommande volontiers !

The room was tidy and the bed comfy, and I liked the roof terrace. Three different cafés served breakfast, though the menus were mediocre. The shared bathroom was clean, but we ran low on toilet paper and it wasn’t restocked. The shower was fine. The air‑con was noisy enough to disturb sleep, yet the room got too hot without it. Outside, traffic was loud at times. The hotel sits right next to a church that starts chiming at 7 am, and the bell feels like it’s in the room; after the initial 7 chimes it rings another 67 times as a prayer call, so sleeping past 7 am is impossible. For breakfast I ordered toast, but they served me a ham toastie—no blame on the hotel, just a heads‑up for vegans.

Breakfast options were plenty. We ate right next to the apartment—scrambled eggs with ham and toast, juice and coffee; you could eat there. The apartment’s location was good—everything close to Villa Monserat, the promenade, and the pier. Check‑in instructions were clear, and departure was hassle‑free. The terrace was a bonus, offering views of Lake Como; when it’s warm, you can sit longer and enjoy the scenery.
