The price was low, but the night was freezing because there was no heating or extra blankets; I wrapped my wife in towels and slept in my flight jacket. The hot shower in the morning was almost lukewarm, so my wife couldn't shower at all. The worst was the lack of taxis nearby; we were 5 minutes away by car, yet had to call a taxi from Spalding that took an hour to reach Gedney and cost us £35.

The location is good in the city centre, the hotel is plain but the staff are very friendly and helpful. The edges feel a bit tired, and it could use some investment.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, ready to welcome us; the room was clean, the shower was good, and overall it was great value. There was some road noise through the town, but it quieted down after midnight.

It was quiet and central to where I needed to be. The staff were really good and friendly. I didn’t have a mirror in my room. It was difficult to fill the kettle in the bathroom sink. The shower controls were too high and I had great, great difficulty trying to reach them to turn it on. It was so high I couldn’t read the words on the knots so an instruction sheet and a stool would have been helpful. I had to jump up and try to turn the knob as I jumped. When I got the water flowing it wasn’t clear or easy to adjust the heat because I had to jump up to make adjustments
