The hotel in the outskirts feels a bit dated, yet everything was clean; the premium balcony was perfect with a great view, the breakfast was high quality and the selection superb, even offering small-cut fresh fruit for the muesli and freshly made omelette; on the day of departure we could leave our car in the garage and use the facilities for free – thank you very much.

The hotel is beautiful, right on the boulevard and a 10‑minute walk from the lively harbor, with many restaurants and pubs nearby; there are plenty of ways to explore the gorgeous region, it’s 17 minutes from the airport and half an hour from Malaga city center; the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast exceeded all expectations.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, yet my stay turned out to be disappointing because the room was uncomfortable and my concerns were not taken seriously. I booked and paid a premium for a two‑night stay, hoping for a comfortable room and a good night’s sleep, but the air conditioning never worked properly. The room stayed too warm, and even after multiple visits from staff who insisted there was nothing wrong, the cool air didn’t circulate through the space. Being only 4ft 11”, I noticed that every technician who inspected the unit was taller than me, and I wondered if the airflow was adequate for them but not for me. My complaints were dismissed rather than investigated, and I slept almost none of the two nights, sweating and feeling excessively hot. This was completely unacceptable, especially given the premium price I paid. I also paid for bed and breakfast, but when I left at 6am for my flight I was only offered a cold takeaway breakfast. I hope the hotel reviews both the cooling system and its complaint handling.

I really enjoyed the comfy sun loungers and the pool area, but the food was often cold.
