“ホスピタリティがなさすぎる”

The location was good, but there were several major problems with this place. Regarding the facilities, only one roll of toilet paper was provided per room, and no extra was given after it ran out; there were also no bath towels. The photos showed a kettle, mineral water, and amenities, but none of those were actually in the room, so the pictures and the real service differed greatly. Breakfast was served only between 8 am and 9 am, and among all the places I stayed in Egypt for four weeks, this was the smallest portion; the dishes were not normal plates but disposable plastic containers and paper cups. Cleaning was terrible: the sink and drain had hair that seemed to belong to a previous guest, and the bed had hair and stains. If you care about cleanliness, I would not recommend this place. The owners, a married couple, smoked frequently; when they ran out of cigarettes, they would bring their child into the guest rooms and ask for a box of cigarettes, even after I had declined once. This was uncomfortable. When I needed something, the owners would wave me over and gesture for me to come to them, which made me question their service attitude. Checkout was listed as 2 pm on the booking site, but the owner repeatedly came to my room and insisted I leave by 12 pm. Even after I refused, they kept saying 12 pm, and I couldn’t leave the room for about 30 minutes because they wouldn’t let me go. The mismatch between the advertised checkout time and what actually happened caused me a lot of stress. Overall, I left with many complaints about the facilities, cleaning, breakfast, and service. If you’re looking for a place, don’t rely only on the photos; check the amenities and checkout time beforehand.

“夯爆了”

The owner and the staff member “Kid Brother” were both wonderful, and the chicken and lamb the owner grilled were delicious; the hotel even has a cute little cat that we got to know in just two days, making the place feel very homely. The only issue was occasional power cuts, with the last day experiencing several outages, but everything else was fine.

“Great place to relax”

A peaceful spot with staff who were genuinely friendly and welcoming; overall a great stay. The only downside was the regular blackouts and almost no wifi, but that’s typical in Siwa and not the hotel’s fault.
