“Treasure of Acireale”

We absolutely loved our stay at Residenza Cavour. It sits in the historic centre, just around the corner from the cathedral. Parking was a breeze because Michelangelo secured us permission to enter the ZTL and booked a spot right next to the property. Michelangelo was amazing—great communication, always ready to answer questions, and he offered excellent restaurant and sightseeing tips. Breakfast is included at two nearby cafés, which is great because you eat like a local :) You have three options for what to get. The room was clean, well‑equipped, and from the window you could hear the cathedral bell. We adored Acireale’s atmosphere; it didn’t feel too crowded and was authentically local, which we really appreciated while traveling. Nothing was missing; everything was perfect!

“Mix of great location and management.”

The location is great in an underrated spot (Acireale, compared for example to Siracusa), central, close to all amenities, and reachable on foot. Manager Michelangelo was super‑available and helpful from start to finish, had all the answers and local insight, and was always ready to communicate.

It’s in the city centre and lively yet calm, with the added benefit of a reserved parking spot. The air conditioning and bathroom ventilation are a bit noisy at night.

Michelangelo gave a superb welcome. He offered advice, explanations, parking in front of the residence, and even dropped off an umbrella when it rained. It’s in the city centre near the main square. There are tickets for breakfasts in nearby bars. The room is beautiful. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s expected in town.
