A fine hostel where we stayed in a private room. Digital communication with the hosts went very well. It's in a great location—just a stone's throw away from the river, with all the necessary facilities nearby. Since there weren't many people staying at the time, it didn't feel busy or crowded at all. The mattresses were pretty thin, not the most comfortable sleep

The bus from the station was convenient, and Gifu Park and Gifu Castle were within walking distance, which was handy. I didn’t use the shower, but there was a hot spring (sento) and a laundry about a 20‑minute walk that I used every day; it felt nostalgic and comfortable. I would have preferred a dryer so I could do laundry at the hotel.

The stay was very comfortable with plenty of space and good common areas, the host was great, and the location was close to the castle and park.

You can borrow a bicycle for free, coffee is free, and everything is clean.
