We were impressed by the value for money. The room was decent in size, basic but functional. The shower was a rain‑effect type and felt refreshing after a long day of hiking. The location is good, just a five‑minute walk to Whitby’s main area. Returning to the hotel involved an uphill walk, but it wasn’t too steep for us. We liked not having physical keys because the place uses digital code locks. The room was very quiet, giving us two good nights’ sleep. We’ll definitely come back because the price was much lower than other Whitby properties. The room could have had a bedside table, but its absence didn’t ruin our stay. We paid for a parking scratchcard but didn’t arrive until after 11 pm, so we never collected it and parked in the long‑stay spot near the harbor. I’m not sure where to park on the street because it was busy everywhere, or something called a Disc Zone.
