“Beautifully designed hotel, great staff”

The hotel is beautifully designed with great views even as you walk through the corridors; unlike many other hotels, the landings are bathed in natural daylight. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The room, including the bathroom, was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of daylight, with blinds available to block light if needed. Breakfast offered a wide range of hot and cold foods. The hotel sits in a pleasant area with hill views. You need to take a bus to reach the city centre in Bregenz (or Donbirn), but those buses run regularly and late into the evening. If you want to stay in the city centre, this is a bit farther out, but I think it’s worth it. Two or three bus routes run frequently, the trip to Bregenz isn’t too long, and it’s very pleasant. Hard to fault this hotel!

“Gute Zentrale Lage, aber nichts für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt”

The hotel was pretty good overall, just a bit dull. The breakfast, however, was a real stretch for a 4‑star place.

The mattresses were unbelievably soft; when I asked, they added boards underneath, which made them a little firmer. The double bed was actually two single beds.

“Als Zwischenstation in Ordnung.”

The breakfast was solid and the décor felt modern. But there was no fridge in the rooms, and the air‑conditioning was bad, making it far too hot.
