Overall good, satisfied! Every staff member was kind, attentive to the surroundings, and helped when I was in trouble. The room door made a big bang sound every time I closed it, which surprised me each time 😰 The dinner was a bit light, but I could eat gyoza and char siu at the hotel’s Ippukuten, so it worked out in the end.

We adored the hotel, our spacious room, and the amazing view; the dinners were superb, and the staff made us feel truly cared for. The onsen was fantastic, featuring two large basins, one outdoors with a Pacific view, and the breakfast was very good. The shuttle service was reliable and friendly.

The staff were super friendly and generally accommodating, but I couldn't get a kaiseki meal arranged because the staff member I spoke with couldn't help; it might have been a communication issue or the meals take a long time to prepare. I know that English isn’t widely spoken in remote areas, yet there are many ways around that these days. Still, it was a great place to stay. Also, I never saw any notice that the onsite onsens were not tattoo‑friendly, so it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t use those facilities, especially since Kinosaki Onsen allows tattoos.
