Located on Koh Samui, the PS Thana Resort features lush gardens, air-conditioned rooms with private balconies, and free parking. The resort is a 20-minute drive from Samui International Airport and Chaweng Beach, and a 10-minute ride from the Big Buddha Temple. Rooms offer cable TV, seating areas, and fridges, with en suite bathrooms featuring bathtubs and showers.

The PS Thana sits on the best part of the beach, and the pool area is great even though I didn’t use it. I stayed in room A2, right by the pool and the shore. The room was spacious with a large bathroom, and the mattress and pillows were far superior to the 4‑ and 5‑star resorts I’d been at the days before. The room was cleaned thoroughly each day, with fresh towels, and it always smelled clean and pleasant. I didn’t have breakfast included, but I ate lovely breakfasts at “Sunny side up,” a short walk from the resort, and they also let me borrow beach towels. Nothing else to complain about 😊

The location is good, and the basic room works for a single night and offers reasonable value for money, though there are no staff on site. The facilities feel pretty basic.
