“A wonderful stay with breathtaking views, a well-equipped studio and superb food at the nearby pub.”

The location is absolutely stunning. Waking up to mountain views across the valley is breathtaking, especially in summer. The Kepple studio apartment was very well equipped, and the nearby Woolpack pub was the cherry on top. I highly recommend the Woolpack: its menu is one of the best I’ve seen, and the generous portions are especially welcome after a strenuous day in the mountains. The only downside is the idiots speeding along the narrow lanes.

The location was lovely—very pretty, scenic, and close enough for us to do Scafell Pike. The bed was so uncomfortable and hard. The cabin was extremely hot with no windows that could open. The people next to us were very noisy, so we didn’t give it a rating.

The studios were fantastic—really comfortable and spacious. The isolated setting delivers the perfect Lakes experience, and the brilliant pub next door adds to it.
