The reception was friendly, the breakfast was delicious with fresh products and tasty cheeses, and the hotel is located in the center of Engelberg, just a 5‑minute walk from the train station—great location. The mattresses were very soft or already quite worn, and I personally find the carpeted floor in the room unhygienic.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful, always ready to support us with all our requests. The restaurant served a fine dinner, and the breakfast featured excellent regional products. The playroom, stocked with a few games and toys, was a great bonus for our kids, letting us parents enjoy the stay too. The hotel’s location in the pedestrian zone was perfect, with everything within walking distance.

First, a huge thank you to the staff – everyone was very friendly. The hotel is simply wonderful and centrally located, making everything easily reachable; the room was cozy and had a balcony with a stunning view of the city and the mountains.

The place had an excellent location and the staff were friendly. The street light still seeped through because the curtains didn’t block it.
