Everything I looked at was damaged: the headboard was worn, the table had peeled paint, light switches were broken or missing—especially problematic with small children. In the bathroom, water splashed from almost every spot during the shower, curtains in the windows were half‑peeled, and all night I could hear water dripping from the air‑conditioning unit onto the sill. Additionally, we had to pay for parking, which wasn’t marked as a fee; the parking was basically on the street and everyone could access it. We were told the parking was guarded all night, but when I went down around 5 am to get my car, the receptionist was sitting on the chairs, as if it were still monitored.

The hotel’s location was acceptable; we only stayed one night on our way back home. The front‑desk lady was very kind and helpful. The building feels very old and hasn’t been properly renovated for decades. Our family room had no window that could be opened, making ventilation difficult, and the whole room carried a strong cigarette‑smoke odor. Breakfast was far too basic with very limited options. I felt the hotel seemed more suited for “Real Men” than for families.

The spot was convenient for our stay in Niš, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was quite sunken and uncomfortable, and the air‑conditioner in the next room was right outside our window, producing a lot of noise all night and ruining sleep.
