The staff were very helpful with our requests. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We had inclusive breakfast, and there was a good choice in the breakfast room. The hotel was very comfortable and friendly.

The menu selection was solid and the staff were welcoming, especially Libby who helped make our event run smoothly, but there was no phone in the room to reach reception and the EV charger was missing, which will be an issue in the future.

I stayed in the bridal suite, which was clean, nice, and spacious; the dinner was lovely with a good variety of options, and its closeness to Hylands House was convenient, plus the security was solid with gates closing after 11 pm. However, the bridal suite shower had no curtains or doors so water splashed everywhere, the bath taps were broken so I couldn’t use the tub, there were no room phones so I had to leave the room to request anything, and a dispute over charges remains unresolved after 10 days.

“Ideal for our needs & we appreciated the restaurant offering daily evening meal when required.”

The TV in our room was initially not working properly, but it improved slightly after we asked for replacement batteries, and we were disappointed to discover it wasn’t a smart TV.
