The views are stunning, the staff are fantastic, and the location is great. Raj and Sampath went above and beyond, offering us recommendations and a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast that included Aloo Paratha! There were some maintenance noises, but that’s understandable since they’re expanding and improving the property during the low season.

“A Pleasant Stay Highlighted by an Exceptional View”

We stayed at this hotel and would recommend it, especially for couples or small groups. The view from the patio is the real highlight, offering a breathtaking panorama of Little Adam's Peak and the surrounding Ella landscape, a perfect spot to unwind. The room was clean and generally comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive three beds instead of the two we had booked, which suited our family of four well. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and the hotel’s location is a major plus—within walking distance of Ella’s main area yet surrounded by beautiful flower gardens that create a peaceful vibe. We even got to watch a couple of wedding events during our stay, adding to the experience. On the downside, the advertised room size may include the large patio, but the indoor space felt a bit cramped for a family of four; with three beds there was little room left for seating or easy movement. The beds were mostly fine, though one of the extra beds was less comfortable. Breakfast was decent and varied, but nothing memorable. I also spotted a housekeeping slip when we arrived: the toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly and had visible hairs left behind, a small detail that slightly marred the first impression. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The excellent location, friendly staff, beautiful gardens, and especially the spectacular patio view make this hotel a solid choice for visiting Ella—an unforgettable view that will stay with us for a long time.

We had a wonderful stay at Ella Flower Garden Resort. The room was comfortable, the food was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Sampath Dissanayake and the Restaurant Manager, for their excellent hospitality and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

The view from the hotel and balcony is absolutely stunning, and we caught a breathtaking sunset. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant is also very varied. Lalith at the restaurant was incredibly welcoming; he told us all about the honey of local produce in Ella. Renovation work starts after 8 AM, so there will be some noise
