The hotel is amazing, full of artwork, with very comfortable facilities and great breakfast. But the real highlight is the owner, José María, who is charming. He gave excellent tips for exploring the Baztan valley and took his time explaining the palace’s history and the Kingdom of Navarre, making the experience unforgettable. We’ll definitely come back. 100 % recommended.

Despite the old surroundings, it has all the modern comforts. José Maria is a wonderful host, passionate about the history and preservation of the old Navarrese palace. Everything was very good.

I loved everything. The Palacete hostel, run by José María, is kept with such care and tenderness, preserving every corner in detail and revealing the rich history that lives within those walls. I’m grateful for his friendliness and for sharing a slice of that marvelous house’s story with us.
