The staff’s smiles and the tasty breakfast were nice, yet the layout felt like a one‑room apartment rather than a hotel, and the futon was a bit heavy.

The room was spacious with a separate bathroom, a sofa and a small table, and having a microwave and a simple sink made late‑night snacks easy; the lobby offered free water, ice, and coffee, and a no‑cleaning notice with key drop‑off earned a complimentary drink. The distance to Seibu Chichibu Station and the nearest 7‑Eleven was a bit of a walk, so I’d suggest going straight to Belc supermarket instead; the hot‑water tap can burn you if you’re not careful, something I hadn’t seen in other hotels with similar taps.
