I thought it was perfect for anyone looking to save money—cheap, yet roomy and comfortable with nothing missing. I did feel like the place had been turned into a love‑hotel for business, so it wasn’t a good fit if you’re bringing kids.

The bathtub was fantastic. However, the sound of ambulances passing by two to three times each night disrupted my sleep.

The price was really cheap and the breakfast was decent, but the room didn’t have a table and only a single chair, there was no wardrobe, the bathroom lacked a shower chair and the window wouldn’t open so it felt a bit stuffy, the staff who served breakfast were often not at their station, and the nearest tram stop was a fair walk away – about 20 minutes on foot.
