Nestled near Lake Placid, The Whiteface Lodge sits 2.4 km from the town and 2.2 km from Mirror Lake. Guests enjoy on‑site bowling, billiards, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa with massages, and dining venues including a lounge and ice‑cream parlor. Suites feature elegant décor, natural wood, kitchens, spa baths, and optional en‑suite bathrooms. Children delight in Kamp Kanu, a movie theatre, and a seasonal ice‑skating rink.

The resort looked beautiful and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. The game room could have been updated.

This lodge looks stunning and is worth every penny. The lobby features plenty of comfy leather seating surrounded by wildlife art and stylish lighting. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and the managers even stopped to chat with us. The grounds and pool are well maintained and easy to reach. On the lower level you’ll find a full entertainment and workout area, including a movie theater and game room. I’d definitely stay here again! The downside was the housekeeping: our room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was a stuffed toy, a diaper, and game pieces on the floor. The bathroom lacked washcloths, the floors could have been cleaner, and the couches and throw pillows needed a wash.

The service was solid, but the pillows were awful. I asked for new pillows twice, yet they stayed flat and caused neck pain, making it hard to sleep.
