“Luxury hideaway”

The hotel sits in a quiet spot far from traffic, surrounded by extensive gardens and a charming fairy garden. Rooms are roomy, spotless, and well‑equipped with tea, coffee, and plenty of bottled water. Food is very good: breakfast is plentiful and cooked to order, dinner is delicious. We, a party of four in two rooms, all agreed we’d definitely return. The hosts were extremely friendly, went above and beyond, and made the stay as enjoyable as possible—special thanks to Holly for her exceptional service. The only drawback was that food service could be a bit slow, though the dishes were fresh and tasty when they arrived.

We had an outstanding stay at Estate of Ord, a hidden gem where every team member from check‑in to check‑out treated us like valued guests. The restaurant served exceptional food on both nights, and Holly’s friendly service enhanced the dining experience. Mornings began with a fantastic breakfast and beautiful garden views, while evenings were memorable with drinks at the bar. George and Kelly were warm, friendly, and genuinely lovely to chat with, and Fiona was always present, tirelessly maintaining the estate’s immaculate look. Their hospitality and the overall atmosphere made the trip unforgettable. The only issue was the mattress in our rooms, which was a bit too soft and showed some sagging spots; otherwise, we’d give it a perfect 10/10.

“Great stay, good Australian hospitality in an amazing Scottish setting!”

The place is fantastic, though we struggled to locate it (thanks, Google Maps 🙄). We called the Estate and Emily stayed on the line while we drove in. Once there, the grounds were beautiful, the manor impressive, and the coffee and cake great. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and a welcome visit to the distillery after many miles in our van. George and Kelly were welcoming and helpful, making the stay wonderful. There were no issues; we had three rooms for five people, and everything was comfortable.
