“Not up to expectations.”

The faculty and location are beautiful, and the building is a fine example of Canadian log‑cabin architecture with plenty of activities. The room fell short: the bathroom sink was cracked, we had to ask for a second bathrobe multiple times before receiving one, and the shower gel container was empty. The parking lot was a mess with potholes and broken pavement, making it hazardous to walk there at night—issues that should never occur at a five‑star property.

“Chic , réconfortant et chaleureux”

I loved the lobby—wow, what a stunning architectural jewel from the past century, complete with a bar for cocktails or specialty coffees, stone fireplaces all lit (which made me very happy), and a must‑see pool with a steel‑woven ceiling and wood paneling featuring a painted hypocampus that’s been there for over 100 years; the spas are very comfortable! We adored the evening meal of chantignoles and especially the castle’s special brunches—a delight with a wide variety of choices! I give the Château Montebello five stars ♥️ Nothing negative, I loved everything!

“Splendide!”

A very beautiful hotel with an extensive complex and excellent services. The lobby is often full, so it isn’t always easy to spend time there, probably because a conference was happening during our stay. The staff were very attentive.

“Nice getaway”

The log‑cabin vibe is great, and the grounds and gardens are well maintained. Dinner and the breakfast buffet are very good. The carpet in our room needed cleaning, the elevators looked worn, and some of the exterior logs needed another coat of paint or stain.
