The Islander Inn

We adore the islander. The place is clean, comfortable, in a great spot, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely come back!

“The overall experience was fun and relaxing, ease of access to the beach made the trip worthwhile.”

The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent; I wish there had been some kind of egg, even if it had been hard‑boiled. The beach location was amazing! The walkways between the upper floors should have been covered to avoid getting wet when it rains. The hallways outside the rooms were stuffy and hot, with no air conditioning. It would be nice to have a removable shower head for easier bathing.

“Great Location for beach lovers”

The location is great and the beach is very convenient. The doors—both the outside door and the balcony door—were extremely hard to open; they seemed bent or obstructed. They don’t provide daily maid service unless requested, which is fine, but when we left dirty towels and garbage bins outside, they only took the garbage. I had to call the lobby to get trash bags, toilet paper, and clean towels. Our bed linens were inside out—the top sheet and fitted sheet—just a small lack of detail. The continental breakfast was normal, but no one wiped down tables on busy weekends—another small lack of attention to detail that seems present at neighboring resorts.
