The décor is pretty and tasteful. We had to take off our shoes and climb a cold concrete staircase to the accommodation. The host’s reception was unfriendly because she didn’t like our arrival time. We didn’t know she didn’t live there. She said arrivals were allowed after 18 h and not at 18 h. With traffic, things can always shift. Also, the bedding had stains.

The room is spacious and clean, but the facilities are quite basic. The location is good, with woodland walks right next to the property. Only cash is accepted.

Located in the French Jura, this was the ideal stop for us on our way south. The stay is quiet on the edge of a forest. In the mornings a breakfast with local and partly homemade products is served in a shared dining area. It was a bit unclear how the dog policy works; dogs are welcome but not in the family suite above the dining area. Luckily an exception was made for us because we had already booked. Another point to note is the lack of towels in the shower, so bring your own.

The farm is nicely decorated. A simple, healthy and good breakfast and a pleasant hostess. Everything is set for a good stay.
