An hour before check‑in, we received a confusing message saying the room had a water damage and was closed, but it wasn’t clear whether we needed to find another room. When we asked for clarification, we got no reply. The hotel acted irresponsibly and filed a claim with Booking after our messages to get a refund; a brief response would have been enough.
