The name of the property is a promise. From the hilltop, you get almost unrestricted views of the coves, beaches, and hinterland to the east, south, and west. The area is very quiet because it stands alone. The large grounds feature olive trees, fig trees, flowers, plenty of seating and lying spots, even barbecue areas. There’s also a washing machine and dryer available. Lucia, the owner, gave a very friendly welcome and extensive information about the property, local activities, and restaurants. The room was very nice, the bathroom large, everything was top‑conditioned and very clean. There was plenty of storage and a fridge/minibar. The room and bath were pre‑heated when we arrived, and an extra blanket was provided. The peaceful surroundings ensured undisturbed sleep, with sunset in the evenings and sunrise from the bed in the mornings. The breakfast that Lucia and her husband freshly prepare for guests on the morning of their stay, ordered the night before, was superb. For the first time, olives were served. Overall, a wonderful stay. The only downside was that it was somewhat noisy. The owners living in the same house above the gas rooms have two dogs. Their claws on the hard floor were clearly audible when they walked, especially in the gas rooms, and there were regular, loud breathing sounds at night from the neighbors. A transmission mast stands on the neighboring property.
