“Charming”

The inn was gorgeous and historic, right in the heart of a lovely village, and the staff were very friendly. The dinner and breakfast that were included were outstanding, especially thanks to the cheerful lady who cooked and served us breakfast even though she was understaffed. The rooms are a bit small, but they are well appointed.

“A really good room, friendly staff and lovely breakfast! What more could you want!”

The location was spot‑on for our visit, and the room, though small, had every essential for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was included in the price, freshly cooked and lovely. The staff we met were friendly and helpful, and we’d book again. There was nothing we disliked; the beds were comfy and the room clean. A window or vent in the shower would have been nice, but it wasn’t essential.

“Warm welcome, dog friendly and delicious food with gluten free options.”

The Antelope offered excellent value for money: simple, clean en suite accommodation that welcomes pets. Dinner was delicious with plenty of options and breakfast was tailor-made for each of us. Located Near Marlborough, between Stonehenge and Avebury Rings and just over 1/2 hour drive to Salisbury, The Antelope makes an excellent stay/stopoff for driving around Wiltshire's most interesting sites, but the busy road means it wouldn't be a first choice if you were looking for a rural country spa
