“Excellent, highly recommend.”
The room had all the essentials, was a good size, and the decor was exceptional and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Staff were helpful. Nothing.

Rooms were super clean and spacious, with nice decor. The shower door fell off the rack, but the staff fixed it quickly. We asked for twin beds, but they didn’t set it up that way. It turned out the bed was large and comfy, so it wasn’t a big deal. We would have liked a small fridge and safe in the room. We also didn’t see the QR code for a while, so printed material would have helped. Plus, the pub could use a printed menu in the room.

Very comfortable bed, good location for transport links, and a nice pub downstairs with good food. Minor issue: the shower doors weren’t quite fitted properly. The room was described as “Bijou” – small.

Room was comfortable and very well equipped. Very clean. The room is directly above the pub, so it’s very noisy on weekends until 11 pm. There’s no breakfast option, and this isn’t mentioned at all.

A nice pub with a wide range of beers that also serves food – but remember it doesn’t offer breakfast. The location, a few minutes from busy Essex Road and equally busy New North Road, is surprisingly quiet. My room (2) was light and airy, well appointed with a very comfortable bed and a nice en‑suite. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and a good breakfast option is Cooks and Books, which is less than 5 minutes walk away; there’s also a Co‑Op store less than 5 minutes walk away and the Regent’s Canal is also close by. Overall, it’s a nice, friendly place to stay in the heart of Islington that is quiet and relaxing.
