The family room was spacious, clean and comfy, with soft beds, clean towels, hot water and a good size. The staff—Chogyal, PhurbLham, Nima, Atisha Rai, the careful shuttle driver and many others—were all helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel was spic and span, located 14 minutes from the stupa, and the upstairs breakfast/dining restaurant offered amazing views and good food. I’ll stay here again for sure, and it’s good value. I can’t fault it at all.

The room was comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make your stay pleasant. There weren’t too many noises even though the airport was nearby; I expected worse with the plane noise.

The location was excellent, within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and markets. It was very clean and quiet during sleeping hours, and our room was a bit small. Probably the best shower I’ve had in weeks of traveling. The best part was the staff—they were all very friendly and welcoming, had great knowledge of the area, we had many heartfelt conversations and I felt at home. There was nothing I didn’t like.
