Solsta Hotell is located on Karlstad's main street, Drottninggatan, 300 metres from Central Station. The hotel offers en-suite rooms with cable TV, a fridge, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. A bright dining room serves a breakfast buffet, and free tea/coffee is available. The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view. Värmland Museum and shops are nearby, within a short walk.

I couldn't find a parking spot, which was a hassle.

It was centrally located and good overall, but the bathroom felt outdated: the shower was in the tub, there were no mixing taps, and the faucet at the sink made a loud noise. There were also no nightstands to put things on.

Great hotel right in the city center but still a bit cramped. The rooms were small but fine, and I got a newly renovated room that looked really nice.
