Hotel Giardinetto Venezia offers Venice Lagoon views, located on the promenade in Venice-Lido. The hotel is steps from the port with direct boat connections to Venice centre and 700 metres from sandy beaches. Rooms feature parquet floors, minibar, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. A daily sweet breakfast buffet is served in a dedicated area, with free WiFi throughout.

The location is directly opposite the Vaporetto station on the Lido.

The place is well located, right across from the Lido island pier, making travel easy. However, I don’t think it qualifies as a proper hotel because the front desk only operates from 8:00 to 14:00, so you have to check in yourself. Normally that’s fine, but this time I needed to buy a ticket to leave Venice, and the only option was online. As a foreigner I couldn’t use a credit card, so I really wanted help from the front desk staff, but I couldn’t find anyone.

The hotel sits in a great spot, the staff are friendly and they handled everything smoothly.
