Craig and Dan were incredibly friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh, tasty food. The bathrooms felt a bit cramped, and the toilets were very enclosed, but that’s understandable given the house’s age.

“Homely old world comfort”

The building is a charming old structure full of character and style that captures the essence of New England. It’s cozy, warm, and welcoming. The living area is very social, especially in the evenings with a fireplace, and if you’re lucky you’ll find homemade cookies. The breakfast menu steers clear of typical American fare, offering interesting dishes and great flavors. Our room was comfortable, featuring a large bed and two chairs, including a rocker. Sodas are stocked in a fridge. It isn’t a major issue, but if you dislike a lot of stairs, check which floor your room will be on.

“Fantastic gourmet breakfast, warm and friendly staff, staff,”

The house was beautifully decorated for fall with lots of glass pumpkins and autumn flowers, the rooms were immaculate, warm, and inviting, complete with fireplaces, and Craig was a wonderful host.

“I highly recommend this in if ever in the Ludlow area.”

The location was convenient for shops and restaurants, traffic was light, parking was good, breakfasts were exceptional, the hosts were friendly, the staff were cheerful, afternoon treats were nice, robes were provided, the bed was comfortable, and the towels were super fluffy. There was no place to store bags on the first floor, so I had to leave my motorcycle luggage exposed for safety, and the stairs were a bit steep for carrying bags.
