I can’t really review the stay because the property told me only the night before arrival that, due to an internal issue, they couldn’t host me. I understand that unforeseen problems happen, but the last‑minute notice caused significant inconvenience. They also insisted I cancel the booking myself even though it wasn’t my fault; luckily I didn’t, otherwise the platform wouldn’t have found another place for me. I’m only rating the reservation handling, which was unsatisfactory.

The location is great, but the neighbors behind have amazing dogs, which has nothing to do with the property rating. The ground‑floor apartment is tiny, poorly maintained, dark and damp, lacks screens and proper climate control, and the lights are dim or missing bulbs in the lamps. In the room you have to leave the window open because the curtains won’t close, letting mosquitoes, insects, and even birds in. There’s no hot water in the shower, no TV, and the entrance is a gravel road that only SUVs or utility vehicles can use—sports cars are not recommended. Honestly, everything could be fixed with a little work, and it certainly didn’t make the stay enjoyable for the person who stayed there all day.

The place has mold on the walls, leading to dampness and an unpleasant odor. The shower ceiling is almost black, and the plaster is falling off the walls. The appliances are old and worn out. I’ve stayed in various spots in Tuscany, and this falls far below the standard. Although the description lists a dishwasher and a TV, neither is present in the apartment. Cleanliness, especially of the kitchen appliances, leaves much to be desired.

It was just a one‑night stay, so we couldn’t see all the details. We were traveling for work and it was a pretty good option for us. The shower could use a renovation, but it was otherwise very clean.
