“Pessimo”

The location was fine. The bathroom cleanliness was barely acceptable: we found the toilet axis dirty with feces (I’m avoiding posting photos for decency). On top of that, the bathroom was as large as a camper’s, with very limited space. In the room we found a broken bed. Comfort didn’t improve: the room was cold, the heating was off and we couldn’t turn it on, even after reporting the issue to reception. Breakfast was disappointing: the selection was poor and items weren’t replenished when they ran out. We had to settle for what was left. A decidedly negative experience marked by serious shortcomings in cleanliness, maintenance, comfort, and service. We expect much higher standards from a hospitality establishment. Definitely a stay we won’t repeat or recommend.

“Quiet, comfortable, excellent breakfast and evening meal.”

Central location on the beautiful island of Lindau. Large room with a view of a very large tree. Nothing else.

Very central and everything on the island is within walking distance. There is a bike room. The room furnishings are a bit dated, but still well maintained.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Gasthof Stift. We especially want to highlight the great, friendly team and excellent service. We were allowed to stay a bit longer on the departure day, which was very convenient for us. Thank you for the warm care – we felt comfortable and will gladly return!

“Nettes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.”

Located right in the city center. The facilities are a bit dated. The nearby church tower rings a quarter‑hourly chime starting at 6:00 a.m.
