The owner wanted me to pay in US dollars, then tried to impose an excessively high exchange rate. The receptionist refused to give me the Wi‑Fi code, claiming it wasn’t working, even though another guest had provided it. The night was very noisy until late: guests were partying in the corridors while the night concierge said nothing and was lying behind the reception desk. THAT’S WHAT I DID NOT LIKE. AND WHAT I DID LIKE: NOTHING 855 1ERE

I was annoyed by workman noise early in the morning, and there was no sign that the work had been finished before we booked.

The staff understood English, which helps; the room was fine with a comfortable bed and a good location. However, I couldn’t get Wi‑Fi in my room, even though it worked fine if I stood at reception.

The hotel is comfortable for its classification. The description says it’s 200 m from the city centre, but it actually takes more than a kilometre to get there. There are no restaurants nearby, the staff is very young and doesn’t speak English, making it hard to communicate.
