The neighborhood might not suit the risk‑averse; it was quiet, and I was the sole guest for the first two of my three nights. I could see it getting a bit noisy if all four rooms were full. I had a decent stay overall. The payment system was confusing before booking; upon arrival I had to download an app called something like “PayUp.Now,” couldn’t get it to accept US dollars, and wanted a straightforward payment method. I had to verify with a code sent to my email, then lose access to the app and request another code—unacceptable after a long day. There are cameras in the common areas and the owner communicates via a speaker system; a disembodied voice tells you “Your room is room four. No, don’t go left, go to the right…” They seem reluctant to help. Make sure you have WhatsApp ready.
