The house and its location are great, and the owners are friendly. Instead of the booked triple room, we were offered two rooms.

The manager, Renato, was welcoming and courteous, always ready to give us tourist tips about Sarteano and nearby areas. The property sits deep in the woods, and the silence is unbeatable, just like the view from the terrace (see photo). The cleaning is flawless. Breakfast is continental, but the homemade cakes and fresh fruit salad from the owner are a real treat.

We really liked this hotel. First of all, the place is simply stunning. There are two terraces with absolutely gorgeous views: one on the upper floor with tables, and another below near the pool with loungers. The pool is superb. There's also a tennis court, but all of that is already visible in the photos. What I want to talk about most is the atmosphere of this hotel, which is simply incomparable. It starts right from our arrival, with the warm welcome from the owner, and continues with the attention paid to every detail and everything in the property. The cleanliness is impeccable: towels were changed daily and the room was also cleaned daily. And what to say about the breakfasts, which were simply unforgettable! Every day, the owner prepared a new homemade cake. There were also always fresh croissants, delicious coffee, and fruit juices. Everything was truly excellent. The only thing that I missed a bit in this hotel were the lunches and dinners. But that's really a personal preference, and I will explain why. For me, this hotel is ideal as a place to stay and rest for several days, or even for a long period. Since it is a bit away from restaurants, cafés, and the city center, you had to take a car each time to go eat. I would have really liked to stay on site without having to leave, because the atmosphere is so pleasant and calming that it makes you want to stay there for a long time. I also think that, since the owner prepares such wonderful desserts, the lunches and dinners would definitely be just as delicious!

The location was great, especially since we used it as a base to explore Tuscany; Renato acted as our tour guide, giving excellent and spot-on advice. Every morning he asked about our breakfast preferences to make sure we were satisfied. The room was on a tower with fantastic views of Tuscany. We didn’t use the pool much because we arrived late, but when we did, it was a fantastic experience. Many thanks to Renato and his family for their hospitality. The room didn’t have air conditioning, only a ceiling fan, so the heat during the day was intense, though the nights were bearable.
