The setting is pleasant and relaxing. It was a pity that the breakfast table was too close to another couple; a bit more distance would have been appreciated, like each couple at the end of a table with plenty of flowers in the middle to respect privacy. The timing was awkward.

The host was friendly and the spot between vineyards had potential, but it was terribly neglected with a lot of wandering dirt; the building was in ruins—there was a sagging floor in the bedroom, the breakfast was awful (the coffee was undrinkable, the buffet didn’t live up to its name), it was dark around the building at night so you had to use your phone to find the car, the tables and chairs on the terrace were dirty, all for the hefty €140 per night; this place should have its guest‑lodging license revoked.

“Excellent value for money”

The location is amazing and the owners are always very helpful with any requests that come up, but the Wi‑Fi was only available in the common areas, not in the room.

The setting is beautiful and the countryside vibe is great with three ancient plane trees shading a huge garden, and inside there are various art installations and pianos, but the cleanliness was completely lacking: we stayed four days and neither the room nor the bathroom were tidied; the breakfast had industrial pastries, a few sandwiches, and the tables were always dirty; no one ever cleaned, there were cobwebs everywhere, a dog wandered into the lounge and sniffed the bread, a cat ate freely inside and this morning we even saw its droppings in a large ground‑floor room; in the room there were cobwebs and bird droppings that were never removed; it’s heartbreaking to see such disarray, and if the place were cleaned, the furnishings replaced while keeping the style, it could be great for weddings, film sets, ads, and more.

“Meglio andare altrove”

The old farmhouse has potential but is in terrible condition; it’s hidden among vineyards and not marked on the road, and when you reach the parking the first thing you see is a tattered flag with a faded name; the narrow path between plants looks like an abandoned house entrance; the ancient building seems never to have had maintenance, preserving its original charm but also dust; the two rooms assigned were spacious but furnished with old, dusty, dirty furniture; the large bathroom had clogged faucets and a malfunctioning flush that kept running; the smell in both rooms and bathrooms was unpleasant; breakfast was served in the common hall where we found the table completely dirty and had to set it up ourselves looking for clean dishes; on the tray of mini croissants, a free‑roaming dog calmly sniffed them and rested its snout on ours, so we gave up touching anything; throughout the property there are “modern art pieces” of questionable taste, combined with poor cleaning, cobwebs, and a general sense of abandonment that creates an atmosphere more like a horror film set than a holiday home; perhaps in the past the farmhouse had better moments, but today it doesn’t even meet basic hygiene and service standards; it definitely isn’t worth the price asked, even my kids said they’d rather sleep in a car.
