A hidden gem tucked into the Tuscan countryside, this place keeps the old‑world charm alive while offering maximum comfort. The rooms are beautiful and roomy, the staff attend to every detail, and the garden, trees, and pool are simply delightful.

The location is breathtaking and the grounds are very spacious, making it a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy excellent, attentive service. The usual annoyance struck us, though: there were too few storage options for clothes, and we were disappointed by the inadequate sound insulation on the room door.

The setting is calm and quiet, yet close to many local attractions. The pool (unheated, as is normal in Tuscany) is great, and the outdoor area plus restaurant are excellent; the manager and staff were incredibly friendly. The room was comfortable, with a high‑quality bed, linens, good Wi‑Fi, a decent size, thoughtful design, and a modern bathroom boasting great water pressure. The room also had tea‑making facilities, a small fridge, and they seemed to anticipate all needs; the lack of a TV was not an issue. It’s a small podere on a modest hilltop with working olive and wine production, offering lovely views but limited facilities beyond the pool and restaurant, both of which were superb. The place is more modern than some older properties we considered, yet it’s very well maintained and run. We had a great stay and would happily return.

The building is stunning and the property itself is lovely. From the moment we walked in and were greeted at reception, we were taken care of exceptionally well, especially when my husband fell ill; they even offered to take us to the pharmacy and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. We dined in the restaurant both nights we stayed, and the food was superb—especially their tiramisu, the best we’ve had after three weeks in Italy. There was nothing we didn’t like. It’s somewhat secluded and can be a bit of a drive to other spots and vineyards, but the roads are pretty, so we enjoyed it.
