A very friendly and welcoming hotel just one block from the beach. It offers electric car and bike charging, a secure closed parking lot, and a separate small house for the bikes—everything you need for a good bike trip. I can only recommend it. The only downside: I stayed for a week in September and every morning the same breakfast was served. It was tasty but eventually became boring.

The bar staff were very friendly, but I won't be returning. The rooms feel a bit dated, and the bathrooms are just as old. The door hinges are swollen at the bottom, and the painter seemed a bit rushed or maybe ran out of masking tape. The toilet flush is deafeningly loud when you press it, and once the water starts refilling you hear a noise like an opera echoing through the room. There’s a saver, but no key for it, so you don’t need to advertise it in the room’s amenities. Cleaning starts around 7:30 am, and by then you can’t sleep. The staff move chairs, beds, tables and other furniture around loudly, so you’re jolted awake in bed. Breakfast is decent, though I don’t know why some people rave about it. It’s quick for items like rolls and scrambled eggs, because by 9:15 am they’re already gone. Also keep a close eye on your table, otherwise the coffee and plate will be taken from in front of you before you’re finished.

The staff were friendly, the pool was nice, and the location is great. However, some areas still need modernisation, which should be done gradually; you can see what has already been updated.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alexander! The location is fantastic, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, with a great selection and excellent quality. The staff was outstanding—so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They truly made our stay special. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Hotel Alexander!. We loved everything
