Castello di Serragiumenta

A night at Castello di Serragiumenta for the Calabria Wine & Film Fest was a wonderful stay at a stunning estate with a charming setting and great taste. The staff stood out for their courtesy and manners, and the owner Rita—always smiling, kind, and lively—made the welcome feel special, with quality, politeness, and elegance. The restaurant La Voliera was excellent: simple yet refined cuisine, great style, and an outstanding wine selection. It was also possible to book a golf cart to explore the estate. The value for money was superb, and I’ll definitely come back.

“Märchenhaft”

I would call Castello di Serragiumenta an absolute hidden gem. The castle is gorgeous, the room was spacious and the separate sleeping/relaxing area in the style of the rest of the castle was simply special. We didn’t expect everything to be so well kept and the hotel to make such a great impression. The food is also excellent and there’s a good selection for vegetarians. The outdoor area is fairy‑tale like and invites you to linger and stroll. If we ever return to the area, we’ll definitely stay there again.

The place is courteous and the food is good, but the parking is small and the access road is tight.
