I booked the “Venere” apartment on the first floor and it was absolutely gorgeous – the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom was superb, and the terrace had a lovely lounge chair and comfy seating. The place itself isn’t particularly exciting, but it’s only a 20‑minute drive to Lecce. 🚘

The house has undeniable charm and a pleasant setting. The lady who welcomed us, Ana, was very kind and smiling.

The room was spacious with high ceilings, and the setting was unique even though there were a few drawbacks. When it rained for two days, the outdoor staircase became treacherous because the steps were slick; I had to lean in to get into the bathroom and to reach the terrace. I also think I didn’t get the room I had booked, and the breakfast was overwhelmingly sweet every morning.

The atmosphere was very nice, the staff were extremely friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the care was loving. Parking was just a few meters away on a public lot, and driving to Lecce or other nearby towns was quick. The local restaurants were good.
